 School News

It is with deep regret and some shock that we announce the deaths of Brendan ”Jock” McCann(1954-1960) and Jimmy Hunt (1954-1960) within a few days of each other just before Christmas. Both joined school on the same day, and left on the same day, and were great pals during their school days and for 41 years afterwards. They were great supporters of this newsletter and contributed items for the website. Brendan’s brother, Desmond, and Jimmy’s brothers, Peter and Brian, were FPs, and we forward our condolences to them and all the family.  We also advise the death of the mother of Roddy, Fergus and Aidan Christie, and the mother of Frank Brash. Our sympathies are with the families.

Can anyone help? Ken Gilhooley is trying to get in touch with Robert Ross. He read Psychology at Edinburgh University after leaving school in 1962? Also, does anybody know anything about Adam Harte? Martin Black would like to hear news about him.
