 School News

It is with deep regret that we heard the news from Chris Bain, that Michael Brand (68-78) had recently passed away. Our condolences are sent to his brother, David, another FP, and the rest of his family.

We have also learned that the mother of our late FP, David Lamberty, and a relative of Domenic Iannarelli ( Scott),have recently died. In the last few days, we have been notified of the death of the mother of Brian & Hugh Young. Our sympathies are with the families.

New e-mail contacts:- Bernie Connarty; John McLay; Jimmy Muldoon; George Muldoon;

Change of e-mail address:- Andrew Sobolewski; Mike Borland;

We recently had the pleasure of meeting up with Sandy Shepherd, visiting from Perth, Australia.

We have been advised by Brother Hall, who is currently in Bangalore, that the latest Christian Brothers International website can be found on:-

Perhaps some FPs may find it interesting.

It has been suggested by a number of FPs that some celebration should be held in 2013 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the opening of the school, or, more appropriately for some, the 35th anniversary of the closure. It would be helpful if early comments and indications of attendance were received, bearing in mind the time factor, and human frailty. If it were to go ahead, a committee to run the event would be required, and names of helpers willing to carry out the task should also be sent to the editor.
