 School News

In a reversal from our usual news, we are delighted to be able to advise previous reports were incorrect, and that Loreto ( Larry ) Visocchi is alive and well, and we have his e-mail address.

We have recently learned that Christopher Begbie is deceased. Condolences are offered to the family. We have now learned that Danny Gibbons, one of our first FPs died in New Jersey in October 2006. He, and his family, will be in our thoughts.

Congratulations are offered to Monsignor Alistair Lawson on his appointment as a Trustee of the Archdiocese of St. Andrew’s and Edinburgh, and also being appointed as Vicar General---Moderator of Curia. Henceforth, he will be known as a big cheese in religious circles.

Change of e-mail addresses have been posted for Fr. Alan Finlay, Fr. Henry McLaughlin, and Bert D’Agostino.

New e-mail address received for Roderick Begbie-  in Banchory: and Frank Vernolini:

Addresses have been obtained for Brian Roarty   in Broxburn, and Charles Begbie in Peebles.

We have been advised that next April will be the 50th anniversary of the school’s first pilgrimage to Lourdes. It would be nice if FPs who made that trip could look out photos from that pilgrimage to post them on the web page.
